Listening Styles

In this assignment my job was to interview 3-5 people and educate them about the 4 different listening styles.

Listening Styles Interview

Step 1: Conduct a short (5-10 minute) interview with at least 3-5 people (parents, friends, significant others, co-workers etc).

Step 2: Vary the people you speak with.

Step 3: Print and show them the 4 pages attached. Or, explain to them very clearly, the four different listening styles.

Step 4: Discuss the questions on each page with them.

Step 5: Then discuss with them how it can be mutually beneficial for each of you to learn about the other person’s listening styles.

Step 6: Finally, type and submit a ½ page to 1 page reflective summary to be cut/pasted into the appropriate assignment area in Canvas indicating.
